Narrative:

I was approaching the airport from the southwest and intending to land on the southwest taxiway of runway 28. I was monitoring the pottstown/limerick unicom and heard a transmission from an small transport on final for runway 28. I immediately turned to a heading of 250 to show my intentions of not to conflict with his landing. I then had visual contact with the small transport. Almost immediately, he announced his intentions to go around for another approach. I had not heard any previous xmissions from the small transport. Since we simultaneously took evasive action we both landed without incident. I attempted to contact the small transport and got no response.

Title: AN SMA HELI AND AN SMT HAD A TFC PATTERN CONFLICT.

Narrative: I WAS APCHING THE ARPT FROM THE SW AND INTENDING TO LAND ON THE SW TXWY OF RWY 28. I WAS MONITORING THE POTTSTOWN/LIMERICK UNICOM AND HEARD A XMISSION FROM AN SMT ON FINAL FOR RWY 28. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED TO A HDG OF 250 TO SHOW MY INTENTIONS OF NOT TO CONFLICT WITH HIS LNDG. I THEN HAD VISUAL CONTACT WITH THE SMT. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, HE ANNOUNCED HIS INTENTIONS TO GAR FOR ANOTHER APCH. I HAD NOT HEARD ANY PREVIOUS XMISSIONS FROM THE SMT. SINCE WE SIMULTANEOUSLY TOOK EVASIVE ACTION WE BOTH LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. I ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THE SMT AND GOT NO RESPONSE.
