Narrative:
Aircraft came into atl for maintenance. Aircraft was reported to have a rumbling sound. Aircraft is an MD80. The #1 engine was ran and a vibration survey was done and the vibration check was good. The accessories were inspected for security and no defects were found. The main oil filter was pulled along with the gear box chip detector and no metal was noted. Engine was spun for leak check and no leaks were noted.

Title: LOGBOOK SQUAWK ON ENG PRODUCING A RUMBLING SOUND. SCHEDULED MAINT PERFORMED. NOTHING FOUND.
Narrative: ACFT CAME INTO ATL FOR MAINT. ACFT WAS RPTED TO HAVE A RUMBLING SOUND. ACFT IS AN MD80. THE #1 ENG WAS RAN AND A VIBRATION SURVEY WAS DONE AND THE VIBRATION CHK WAS GOOD.
