Narrative:
Scheduled departure time was AM45, jan/tue/94. The aircraft pulled out of the gate at AM50 and proceeded to deicing pad for deice. WX conditions at this time were moderate snow. The deicing was performed immediately and a visual inspection was performed by the deicing personnel. I noted the time deicing began and referred to time chart. We began taxiing to active runway per ground control instructions. Upon reaching active runway ATC informed us our aircraft had snow contamination and asked us our intentions. I replied that we would return to deicing pad for another deice. I advised our company operations of my return to the deicing pad and they directed us to return to the gate. Upon arrival, this flight was canceled.
