Narrative:
Radio transmission with ZHN, molokai area (124.1) oftentimes is very poor. I've encountered this problem several times. Reception from center is filled with 'static' backgnd noise and is difficult to hear, especially with a soft-spoken controller. This makes it more difficult to copy IFR clrncs accurately. A better transmitter appears to be needed.
