Narrative:
Departed hun with 2000 pounds fuel on the gauges -1100 pounds listed as fuel burn on weight and balance 900 pounds planned fuel upon arrival at iad 1.3 hours @ 700 pound hour. Iad had a 25 mi downwind, which is common if they are backed up. The approach was the ILS 1R circle to land runway 30 we had 800 pounds on board - approximately 1.3 hour at 170 KTS in a jetstream downwind. During the taxi at iad the left engine quit. We could see no reason why the engine stopped running so we tried a restart for a single engine taxi would be difficult on the icy taxiway. Start was aborted for no fuel flow after 10 percent. We pulled into the blocks with 450 pounds on the gauges. The mechanic counted the amount of gals it took to top off the tanks. 165 pounds, 165 pounds fuel remaining! The J32 has a low level light for each tan. If the amount goes below 200 pounds a light comes on for each side usable. The right ll light started to 'blink' during taxi. Left light never came on!
