Narrative:
On takeoff from sna, the left engine did not quite reach takeoff power. Maximum power called for something like 1.74 EPR. With throttle full forward, left engine developed 1.71. I felt confident engine was producing more than enough power for a safe departure. Engine responded normally during takeoff, climb out, and cruise.

Title: EPR PT 04 LOW ON L ENG ON TKOF.
Narrative: ON TKOF FROM SNA, THE L ENG DID NOT QUITE REACH TKOF PWR. MAX PWR CALLED FOR SOMETHING LIKE 1.74 EPR. WITH THROTTLE FULL FORWARD, L ENG DEVELOPED 1.71. I FELT CONFIDENT ENG WAS PRODUCING MORE THAN ENOUGH PWR FOR A SAFE DEP. ENG RESPONDED NORMALLY DURING TKOF, CLBOUT, AND CRUISE.
