Narrative:
When attempting to start #1 engine, approximately 5 seconds after liftoff, the fire light, fire bell, and master warning light all came on. I immediately aborted the start, shut off the fuel to the engine and pulled the fire t-handle. The fire light immediately went out, the bell silenced and the master warning stopped. I visually checked the engine and saw no fire. I notified dispatch and maintenance of the situation.
