Narrative:

When we were about 5 mi out from cbe, we noticed the left oil pressure decreasing. I decided to retard the left throttle to about 1000 pounds of torque and monitor the left oil pressure. The left oil pressure continued to drop and I decided to shut the left engine down. The oil pressure got as low as 70 psi and the temperature never got above 60 degrees C. (Both O.K. For the engine) at this time we were on final for the cbe airport. We landed and taxied in on 1 engine with no further complications.
