Narrative:
The wind was reported from the south at 15-25 mph at the syracuse airport. The active runway was stated to be 28. I entered landing pattern and was crabbed into the wind. The landing approach was uneventful until transitioning from crab to runway alignment and flare for touchdown. A strong gust of wind raised the aircraft left wing and tail causing right wing tip and propeller tips to contact ground. Recovery was made and rollout and taxi to ramp were completed. In retrospect I wish that runway 14 had been offered, also that I had been more assertive in my radio contact to request runway 14. My experience level didn't dictate this at that time.
