Narrative:
While conducting initial operating experience with a new hire pilot, the first officer landed the aircraft with his right foot on the brake, thus blowing the tire during roll-out. No accident occurred. Crash fire rescue equipment equipment was not required and I taxied clear of runway 1. The airplane was secured and the 9 passenger were bussed to the terminal building without incident. More training on brake usage may help to eliminate this from occurring again.
