Narrative:

Air carrier X, md-88, was climbing eastbound out of 12300 ft. Pilot advised he was getting an RA and descended to 12000 ft. I then observed a VFR target northbound at 12700 ft just above class B airspace (top of class B airspace 12500 ft). I had not observed VFR aircraft Y target prior to the pilot advising of the RA due to workload. This was a good RA that did provide an extra degree of safety for X.
