Narrative:
I was working the approach position a VFR pilot at 8000 ft wanted FSS frequency to check on WX in missoula, mt. Geg FSS closes at 2200 ft. This aircraft was unable to get a WX briefing or any type of service due to poor radio coverage of FSS.
