Narrative:
After takeoff from GNS at 300-400 ft AGL, I heard a loud bang. Cockpit indication showed that #1 engine had failed. Confirming I had a positive rate of climb, I elected to go to lga. I performed a single engine run on landing with no damage or injuries.

Title: ENG FAILURE.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF FROM GNS AT 300-400 FT AGL, I HEARD A LOUD BANG. COCKPIT INDICATION SHOWED THAT #1 ENG HAD FAILED. CONFIRMING I HAD A POSITIVE RATE OF CLB, I ELECTED TO GO TO LGA. I PERFORMED A SINGLE ENG RUN ON LNDG WITH NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES.
