Narrative:

I was 1 of 2 relief first officer's in the observer's seat but all 4 of us (captain and 3 first officer's) agreed that if we had to go around from runway 13L it would have been extremely close (less than 100 ft margin) to a foreign cargo 747 landing runway 22L at the same time. Maybe it's legal for ATC to do it but it doesn't look safe at all. Sitting in the observer's seat with no duties, I figure that if we did a go around 2000 ft down the runway right before touchdown that the closure rate would have been about perfect, but we should have climbed over him. It was safer for us to land but I don't think ATC should schedule traffic this way.
