Narrative:

On taxi out, while under the control of a marshaller, we grazed a jetway. After shutdown, and inspection by maintenance (the only damage was an exchange of paint and a bent static wick) the aircraft was released for flight. See attached incident report. Recommend that where there are a mix of aircraft operating in a gate area, there be painted spots for jetways and aircraft so even pilots unfamiliar with the parking can be sure of wingtip clearance. This was done successfully with the commuter parking at phl.
