Narrative:
There have been several cable cuts by construction crews causing loss of all of fai ATC's radios except standbys. The standby radios are old and very unreliable. This is potentially a very dangerous situation. The controllers have complained about the problem numerous times to no avail!

Title: CONSTRUCTION CABLE CUT CAUSED LOSS OF PRIMARY XMITTERS AND RECEIVERS. COM FAILURE ATC.
Narrative: THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL CABLE CUTS BY CONSTRUCTION CREWS CAUSING LOSS OF ALL OF FAI ATC'S RADIOS EXCEPT STANDBYS. THE STANDBY RADIOS ARE OLD AND VERY UNRELIABLE. THIS IS POTENTIALLY A VERY DANGEROUS SIT. THE CTLRS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PROB NUMEROUS TIMES TO NO AVAIL!
