Narrative:
As we left the gate in bhm, during a hard right turn to the taxiway, our left wing tip contacted the jetway we just left. Aircraft was stopped immediately and towed back to gate. We were released from duty due to far duty limits. Supplemental information from acn 276690: we were being marshalled and were in a hard right turn when a flight attendant informed us a passenger saw the left wing tip hit the gate. We shut down the aircraft and deplaned the passenger.
