Narrative:
During an approach to runway 9R at ZZZ we received a TCASII TA at 1000 ft AGL. Immediately thereafter, TCASII commanded a climb. Also at that time, ZZZ tower said there was traffic in front of us that he was not talking to that should be over the airport. The captain continued down the GS. If he had followed the TCASII RA -- I would not be here writing this report. The helicopter went over the nose of the aircraft at 100-200 ft. Following TCASII would have resulted in a collision. Supplemental information from acn 277163: I ignored the warning because doing so would have resulted in a collision. We did not need to make any evasive maneuvers and stayed on the GS and localizer at all times. We received a call from ATC indicating that a helicopter was not where he should have been.

Title: AN EMS HELI AND AN ACR LGT HAD AN NMAC APCHING ZZZ.
Narrative: DURING AN APCH TO RWY 9R AT ZZZ WE RECEIVED A TCASII TA AT 1000 FT AGL. IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER, TCASII COMMANDED A CLB. ALSO AT THAT TIME, ZZZ TWR SAID THERE WAS TFC IN FRONT OF US THAT HE WAS NOT TALKING TO THAT SHOULD BE OVER THE ARPT. THE CAPT CONTINUED DOWN THE GS. IF HE HAD FOLLOWED THE TCASII RA -- I WOULD NOT BE HERE WRITING THIS RPT. THE HELI WENT OVER THE NOSE OF THE ACFT AT 100-200 FT. FOLLOWING TCASII WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A COLLISION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 277163: I IGNORED THE WARNING BECAUSE DOING SO WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A COLLISION. WE DID NOT NEED TO MAKE ANY EVASIVE MANEUVERS AND STAYED ON THE GS AND LOC AT ALL TIMES. WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM ATC INDICATING THAT A HELI WAS NOT WHERE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
