Narrative:
Emergency descent after rapid depressurization. After level off at FL240 from lit to dfw with right pack placarded inoperative, received level 3 cabin altitude alert. We initiated emergency. Descent to 10000 ft, declared emergency, squawked 7700, followed checklist, and deployed oxygen masks. Continued on to dfw due to WX in lit. At this time we were approximately 166 NM from dfw. We requested 9000 ft and proceeded to dfw.
