Narrative:

Immediately after takeoff, cabin pressurization spiked at an excessive rate. The cabin rate of descent was such that immediate action was required to alleviate discomfort, pain and possible injury. While the first officer went through the after takeoff checklist and changed from tower to departure control, I flew the aircraft and tried to correct the cabin pressure problem with the manual control. During this the flight attendant call light illuminated, which served as another distraction. Throughout this I had maintained runway heading 090 degrees however clearance was 110 degrees after takeoff. Departure control questioned this after instructing us to turn to 120 degrees. I explained that we became preoccupied with the pressurization problem and missed the turn. During the turn to 120 degrees we received a momentary RA on TCASII with traffic that departed runway 9L. The flight continued without further incident with pressurization deactivated.

Title: ON TKOF PRESSURIZATION SPIKES EXCESSIVELY. AUTO CTL DEACTIVATED.

Narrative: IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF, CABIN PRESSURIZATION SPIKED AT AN EXCESSIVE RATE. THE CABIN RATE OF DSCNT WAS SUCH THAT IMMEDIATE ACTION WAS REQUIRED TO ALLEVIATE DISCOMFORT, PAIN AND POSSIBLE INJURY. WHILE THE FO WENT THROUGH THE AFTER TKOF CHKLIST AND CHANGED FROM TWR TO DEP CTL, I FLEW THE ACFT AND TRIED TO CORRECT THE CABIN PRESSURE PROB WITH THE MANUAL CTL. DURING THIS THE FLT ATTENDANT CALL LIGHT ILLUMINATED, WHICH SERVED AS ANOTHER DISTR. THROUGHOUT THIS I HAD MAINTAINED RWY HDG 090 DEGS HOWEVER CLRNC WAS 110 DEGS AFTER TKOF. DEP CTL QUESTIONED THIS AFTER INSTRUCTING US TO TURN TO 120 DEGS. I EXPLAINED THAT WE BECAME PREOCCUPIED WITH THE PRESSURIZATION PROB AND MISSED THE TURN. DURING THE TURN TO 120 DEGS WE RECEIVED A MOMENTARY RA ON TCASII WITH TFC THAT DEPARTED RWY 9L. THE FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT WITH PRESSURIZATION DEACTIVATED.
