Narrative:
Mo-20 small aircraft X landed, rolled out about 2000 ft down runway 8, then went off runway into grass. Taxied about another 600 ft through grass, crossed the runway to a taxiway. We asked if there was a problem or he needed assistance. He said no damage or assistance. Wind was calm to 4 KTS. Supplemental information from acn 278049: small aircraft X was cleared to land runway 8 at lns. On his landing roll he veered off into the grass on the left side of the runway, around a sign, back across the runway, and cleared at a taxiway on the other side of the runway. Pilot explained he wanted to use rudder, not brakes.
