Narrative:
I was working arrival north. When I assumed the position I observed that the scope had arrival south's tags depicted (with an 'south'). We were spacing arrs 4 mi apart and landing runway 12R. While working I heard arrival south slow an aircraft to 150 KTS. The aircraft I saw that he had on final was inside the final approach fix so I double-checked all the arrival tags on final and noticed an 'south' without a data block approximately 1 1/2 mi.
