Narrative:
Departing lgb runway 30, with the tower closed, I realized after airborne, the runway lights were not on. The threshold is displaced about 1/2 mi and when departing the approach end, as specified by noise abatement procedures (as well as using runway 30 'only' when the tower's closed), I wasn't concerned when the blue lights on each side made it easy to align with the runway. I mistakenly figured the white lights would appear somewhere near rotation or just after.
