Narrative:
While making an ILS approach to runway 04 at lga, flight encountered , first, moderate turbulence, then wind shear on final resulting in a 10 KT loss of airspeed on short final and a firm landing. We reported this to tower who replied they had similar reports all day. Nothing on the ATIS but winds 330/08. Other pilots behind us encountered same winds but got our advisory. I believe ATC should be more vigilant in relaying and posting this hazardous WX information, especially at airports with short runways, wet conditions, and equipment outages such as at lga.

Title: FIRM LNDG. ATIS WIND SHEAR INFO MISSING.
Narrative: WHILE MAKING AN ILS APCH TO RWY 04 AT LGA, FLT ENCOUNTERED , FIRST, MODERATE TURB, THEN WIND SHEAR ON FINAL RESULTING IN A 10 KT LOSS OF AIRSPD ON SHORT FINAL AND A FIRM LNDG. WE RPTED THIS TO TWR WHO REPLIED THEY HAD SIMILAR RPTS ALL DAY. NOTHING ON THE ATIS BUT WINDS 330/08. OTHER PLTS BEHIND US ENCOUNTERED SAME WINDS BUT GOT OUR ADVISORY.
