Narrative:
A bird was ingested into the right engine. The engine was shutdown as a precautionary measure within 20 seconds of ingestion. The engine shutdown checklist was referred to and the clean up checklist was performed. The passenger were notified of the incident and that the engine had been shutdown as a precautionary basis. After taxiing in and deplaning the passenger, a fire truck stood by until the #2 engine stopped smoking. Maintenance control was called and a mechanic did inspect the engine. After the mechanic visually inspected the engine, and ground ran the #2 engine, he found the engine to be within tolerances. After the mechanic signed off the aircraft, a ferry flight from gnv to mco was performed. The aircraft made full torque and ran fine during the flight. Supplemental information from acn 281311: no warnings/advisories regarding birds received. Only the one bird was seen. Birds seem to be more active/present in grass around runways and txwys after rain showers -- (possibly looking for food, bugs-insects?)

Title: BIRD INGESTED INTO ENG DURING LNDG.
Narrative: A BIRD WAS INGESTED INTO THE R ENG. THE ENG WAS SHUTDOWN AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE WITHIN 20 SECONDS OF INGESTION. THE ENG SHUTDOWN CHKLIST WAS REFERRED TO AND THE CLEAN UP CHKLIST WAS PERFORMED. THE PAX WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT AND THAT THE ENG HAD BEEN SHUTDOWN AS A PRECAUTIONARY BASIS. AFTER TAXIING IN AND DEPLANING THE PAX, A FIRE TRUCK STOOD BY UNTIL THE #2 ENG STOPPED SMOKING. MAINT CTL WAS CALLED AND A MECH DID INSPECT THE ENG. AFTER THE MECH VISUALLY INSPECTED THE ENG, AND GND RAN THE #2 ENG, HE FOUND THE ENG TO BE WITHIN TOLERANCES. AFTER THE MECH SIGNED OFF THE ACFT, A FERRY FLT FROM GNV TO MCO WAS PERFORMED. THE ACFT MADE FULL TORQUE AND RAN FINE DURING THE FLT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 281311: NO WARNINGS/ADVISORIES REGARDING BIRDS RECEIVED. ONLY THE ONE BIRD WAS SEEN. BIRDS SEEM TO BE MORE ACTIVE/PRESENT IN GRASS AROUND RWYS AND TXWYS AFTER RAIN SHOWERS -- (POSSIBLY LOOKING FOR FOOD, BUGS-INSECTS?)
