Narrative:

Leaving the gate at tulsa, ok, airport: call tower for taxi clearance. Control said taxi 8 (runways 18L and 36R were closed along with some txwys) begin to taxi out to runway 8 made a left turn started down taxiway, could see a straight line of blue lights all the way to the end. Call for the F10 to do first flight of the day as we were taxiing I was monitoring the check somewhat. I didn't realize we were taxiing onto runway 8. (It was starting to get daylight, runway light were not real bright.) I noticed we were on the runway. Look see, no aircraft. Call tower said we had crossed runway 8 ask for help for the proper taxiway. He said to do a 180 degree on the taxiway and cross runway 8 make a right turn on the first taxiway and taxi to the end for runway 8. 1) this was the 4TH night on continuous duty flight, we got duty in at XK10 went to hov first. Then to tul. To tul at XA05. Reported back to the aircraft at XE50 for me and my first officer. We had the same trip all month. 2) time of morning due to lighting at the airport runways and taxi light with a straight taxiway crossing a runway. The spacing is just about right distance between the blue taxi light and did not notice we were entering the runway until we had already done so. 3) only one controller manning tower working ground and runway same time giving departure clrncs. Unable to monitor activities on the airport at all times. 4) with the runways being closed along with txwys some misunderstanding as to just what was to be used. 5) also bad timing on doing autofeather check. No other aircraft were involved in the occurrence.
