Narrative:
While shooting photos of a construction site, inadvertently descended to approximately 500 ft over a populated area due to concentration on getting a good photo. Should have had a safety pilot to monitor terrain clearance and required altitudes.

Title: PLT OF A SMT TWIN FLEW BELOW THE MINIMUM REQUIRED ALT OVER CONGESTED AREAS DURING PHOTO FLT.
Narrative: WHILE SHOOTING PHOTOS OF A CONSTRUCTION SITE, INADVERTENTLY DSNDED TO APPROX 500 FT OVER A POPULATED AREA DUE TO CONCENTRATION ON GETTING A GOOD PHOTO. SHOULD HAVE HAD A SAFETY PLT TO MONITOR TERRAIN CLRNC AND REQUIRED ALTS.
