Narrative:
While waiting to depart dnl called unicom 122.8 and asked when field would open for departure and they said at XA15 to XA30 hours. At XA23 hours started engine and called 122.8 again and their transmission was broken up and could not understand what they were saying. So taxied up to FBO and called again. No answer, so I taxied to runup area. They then called and wanted to know why I taxied into airshow space at time no flying activity that I could see. Temporary tower operator told me airshow was not over and he wanted pilot's license number which I gave. I told him that I could taxi back to FBO and wait and he said to hold my position and he would let me depart shortly -- then I saw 2 skydivers over airshow crowd. After landing they cleared me for takeoff. I think what would help in this case if they had barriers on FBO side of field to indicate airshow box limits. They had none and no guards posted until I taxied to run-up area.
