Narrative:
Approximately 2 1/2 yrs ago a fence was put in place at csg to separate the GA ramp from the air carrier ramp. This was supposed to be a security measure. It's valve as a security measure is minimal as vehicles are allowed to go around the end of the fence without talking to anyone and or the txwys when the gate in the fence is not working. The gate in the fence has been broken at least 6 times in the last 2 yrs for a month or more at a time. This combination of events puts an obstacle directly in the path an aircraft would take between runway 5/23 and the GA ramp, and when the gate is broken, puts fuel trucks on txwys. Although no airplane has hit the fence yet, some have come close, and many have complained about the fence. It seems only a matter of time before some damage is done.
