Narrative:
On a ferry flight from tol to dtw the aircraft was signed off to ferry 1 time to dtw with an intermittent fire warning indication on the annunciator panel not the fire warning panel. The mechanic signing the aircraft worthy for ferry flight signed the aircraft ok to ferry but on the previous log page did not sign off his inspections done to determine the aircraft ok to ferry. The aircraft was flown to dtw. En route the fire warning system on both panels indicated a fire and the engine was shutdown and secured. The mechanics signature and number was found missing upon arrival into dtw. My opinion on the reason for overseeing his missing signature was because of another write-up on the same log page. I assumed his signature at the bottom of the log page sufficed for both actions performed indicating the aircraft safe for a ferry flight. The aircraft was signed off in both places on the next page ok for ferry, but his actions taken on checking the fire system were written down but left unsigned on the previous page.
