Narrative:
I am a flight instructor at a small 141 flight school in southern, nh. One of my students, while on a solo cross country to lebanon, nh, apparently landed without a landing clearance. He was instructed to enter a right base. He entered as instructed then proceeded to land. From what I understand of the situation, my student should have questioned tower to make certain he was cleared to land. Perhaps in the future, lebanon tower might ask pilots to 'report' entering right base.
