Narrative:
After landing in pit, we taxied to the ramp. Ramp control directed us to gate B. As we approached the gate, a marshaller appeared to direct us. The captain followed the marshaller's signals. The parking of the aircraft was normal. I did not observe any objects in the safety area as we approached the gate, but a day later, I was informed that we had struck a baggage cart causing slight damage to an engine cowl.
