Narrative:

Because of a delay in getting ground power, I did not get ATIS or our clearance until after engine start. While I was doing this the captain used the #1 (company) radio to get taxi clearance. The clearance was to taxi to runway 21, hold short at a. A is the parallel taxiway for runway 21. As we were taxiing I changed #2 radio from clearance delivery to what I thought was on the #1 radio. Then I changed #1 radio back to company frequency. As it turns out I did not have the proper ground frequency in the #2 radio. When we got to taxiway a we did not hold short and continued to taxi to runway 21. We discovered we were on the wrong frequency before reaching runway 21 and I called ground control. There were no traffic conflicts or any problems because we didn't hold short at a, and I'm not sure why we were told to hold short. Apparently any crossing traffic had already passed and was gone. The captain and I discussed this and decided that we should have done everything in the normal way instead of trying to hurry things by using 2 radios. That way 2 people would have heard the clearance without being distraction by the other radio with the clearance delivery.

Title: FLC OF AN LTT FAILED TO STOP SHORT OF A TXWY AS CLRED TO TAXI FOR TKOF.

Narrative: BECAUSE OF A DELAY IN GETTING GND PWR, I DID NOT GET ATIS OR OUR CLRNC UNTIL AFTER ENG START. WHILE I WAS DOING THIS THE CAPT USED THE #1 (COMPANY) RADIO TO GET TAXI CLRNC. THE CLRNC WAS TO TAXI TO RWY 21, HOLD SHORT AT A. A IS THE PARALLEL TXWY FOR RWY 21. AS WE WERE TAXIING I CHANGED #2 RADIO FROM CLRNC DELIVERY TO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS ON THE #1 RADIO. THEN I CHANGED #1 RADIO BACK TO COMPANY FREQ. AS IT TURNS OUT I DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER GND FREQ IN THE #2 RADIO. WHEN WE GOT TO TXWY A WE DID NOT HOLD SHORT AND CONTINUED TO TAXI TO RWY 21. WE DISCOVERED WE WERE ON THE WRONG FREQ BEFORE REACHING RWY 21 AND I CALLED GND CTL. THERE WERE NO TFC CONFLICTS OR ANY PROBS BECAUSE WE DIDN'T HOLD SHORT AT A, AND I'M NOT SURE WHY WE WERE TOLD TO HOLD SHORT. APPARENTLY ANY XING TFC HAD ALREADY PASSED AND WAS GONE. THE CAPT AND I DISCUSSED THIS AND DECIDED THAT WE SHOULD HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IN THE NORMAL WAY INSTEAD OF TRYING TO HURRY THINGS BY USING 2 RADIOS. THAT WAY 2 PEOPLE WOULD HAVE HEARD THE CLRNC WITHOUT BEING DISTR BY THE OTHER RADIO WITH THE CLRNC DELIVERY.
