Narrative:
I announced 'taking active runway 4' on CTAF, then taxied into position and held. Aircraft, which just landed, began taxiing off of active runway, at far end. I began my takeoff roll and aircraft at far end headed back onto active. Unsure if I could safely stop, I flew 100 ft over and 20 ft to the right of the other aircraft. The lack of a control tower and several planes in a tight pattern, as well as, several planes ready for takeoff contributed.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: NMAC WITH TAXIING ACFT AND ACFT DEPARTING AT NON TWR ARPT.
Narrative: I ANNOUNCED 'TAKING ACTIVE RWY 4' ON CTAF, THEN TAXIED INTO POS AND HELD. ACFT, WHICH JUST LANDED, BEGAN TAXIING OFF OF ACTIVE RWY, AT FAR END. I BEGAN MY TKOF ROLL AND ACFT AT FAR END HEADED BACK ONTO ACTIVE. UNSURE IF I COULD SAFELY STOP, I FLEW 100 FT OVER AND 20 FT TO THE R OF THE OTHER ACFT. THE LACK OF A CTL TWR AND SEVERAL PLANES IN A TIGHT PATTERN, AS WELL AS, SEVERAL PLANES READY FOR TKOF CONTRIBUTED.
