Narrative:
During a medical emergency which began 20 min north of atl on a flight from cvg-atl, the 250 KT restr below 10000 ft was disregarded for the mer on board. No conflict resulted from the captain's action. The medical emergency involved a heart attack patient being assisted by a medical doctor, both passenger on the flight.

Title: INTENTIONALLY EXCEEDED 250 KTS BELOW 10000 FT DUE TO A MEDICAL EMER.
Narrative: DURING A MEDICAL EMER WHICH BEGAN 20 MIN N OF ATL ON A FLT FROM CVG-ATL, THE 250 KT RESTR BELOW 10000 FT WAS DISREGARDED FOR THE MER ON BOARD. NO CONFLICT RESULTED FROM THE CAPT'S ACTION. THE MEDICAL EMER INVOLVED A HEART ATTACK PATIENT BEING ASSISTED BY A MEDICAL DOCTOR, BOTH PAX ON THE FLT.
