Narrative:
We were told to cross grace at 10000 ft. Later, center told us to slow to 230 KIAS. The captain was under the impression that the later clearance canceled the crossing restrs. I disagreed but was overruled. He crossed grace at about 12500 ft. No traffic conflict was involved.
