Narrative:
After landing on runway 19L at mci, aircraft was turned very slowly onto taxiway due to very slippery conditions resulting from light to moderate snow. After approximately 180 degrees of turn, it became apparent that the aircraft, an md-80, was beginning to slide and that a continuation of the turn was not going to occur. The aircraft was stopped as a precaution to its sliding off of the taxiway. It was, at this time, reported to the tower that we were possibly not clear of the active runway 19L, and the tower rerted inbound aircraft to another runway. A request was made through company operations to dispatch a crew in order that we power back the aircraft to a position whereby we could continue our taxi to the gate. This procedure was accomplished without complications and the aircraft was safely taxied to the gate.

Title: SLICK TXWY SURFACE.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 19L AT MCI, ACFT WAS TURNED VERY SLOWLY ONTO TXWY DUE TO VERY SLIPPERY CONDITIONS RESULTING FROM LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW. AFTER APPROX 180 DEGS OF TURN, IT BECAME APPARENT THAT THE ACFT, AN MD-80, WAS BEGINNING TO SLIDE AND THAT A CONTINUATION OF THE TURN WAS NOT GOING TO OCCUR. THE ACFT WAS STOPPED AS A PRECAUTION TO ITS SLIDING OFF OF THE TXWY. IT WAS, AT THIS TIME, RPTED TO THE TWR THAT WE WERE POSSIBLY NOT CLR OF THE ACTIVE RWY 19L, AND THE TWR RERTED INBOUND ACFT TO ANOTHER RWY. A REQUEST WAS MADE THROUGH COMPANY OPS TO DISPATCH A CREW IN ORDER THAT WE PWR BACK THE ACFT TO A POS WHEREBY WE COULD CONTINUE OUR TAXI TO THE GATE. THIS PROC WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS AND THE ACFT WAS SAFELY TAXIED TO THE GATE.
