Narrative:
Landing at david wayne hooks airport, spring, tx, XA20, jan/sat/95, normal traffic pattern to runway 35L. Experienced radio (transmitter) failure, re-entered traffic pattern, got green light from tower. Landing normal with no significant crosswind. Landing gear checked down throughout the pattern. On touchdown, landing gear collapsed. Aircraft skidded to stop on runway. No injuries. Aircraft minor damage to gear doors (nose and main). Propeller blades damaged. It has been determined this was an incident, not an accident in accordance with NTSB regulation #830.

Title: GEAR COLLAPSES ON NORDO ACFT.
Narrative: LNDG AT DAVID WAYNE HOOKS ARPT, SPRING, TX, XA20, JAN/SAT/95, NORMAL TFC PATTERN TO RWY 35L. EXPERIENCED RADIO (XMITTER) FAILURE, RE-ENTERED TFC PATTERN, GOT GREEN LIGHT FROM TWR. LNDG NORMAL WITH NO SIGNIFICANT XWIND. LNDG GEAR CHKED DOWN THROUGHOUT THE PATTERN. ON TOUCHDOWN, LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED. ACFT SKIDDED TO STOP ON RWY. NO INJURIES.
