Narrative:

Center assigned pilot discretion to 5000 ft. We selected 5000 ft in altitude preselect. Aircraft was on autoplt level 15000 ft altimeter setting 30.07. After getting destination altimeter from ATIS of 29.80. PF started a couple of hundred FPM climb back to 15000 ft. At 15200 ft PF noticed overshot altitude by 200 ft and initiated descent as center advised he showed 15300 ft and traffic at 16000 ft. With an altimeter setting of 29.87. We started our descent to 5000 ft at this point.
