Narrative:

At the gate in sna, while preparing for departure, in addition to briefing nonstandard procedures for departure, a discussion of weight and balance ensued focusing on the '0' fuel weight. During subsequent short taxi it is possible that the '0' fuel weight was used in the takeoff chart to figure the takeoff V speeds. After takeoff from sna, sna tower advised us we possibly scraped the tail on takeoff. We did not notice anything on takeoff. During climb out all aircraft system operated normally. Dispatch was notified of the situation and we were told to continue to slc. After landing in slc, an inspection showed that the skin on the underside of the tail was scraped. The takeoff V speeds possibly contributed to the event.
