Narrative:

This was a 13 1/2 hour position flight from hnl/mkk. Aircraft was scheduled for XF00Z departure by aircraft scheduling department. Aircraft departed at XF27Z with an ETA of XX09Z. Aircraft was diverted to alternate airport upon discovery by another (later) dispatcher prior to arrival time. Destination airport (mkk) kuala lumpur, malaysia was notamed closed XS00-XU30Z mon and wed which I overlooked when I released flight. I should have noticed this NOTAM but feel that my workload (working alone) was a contributing factor. To prevent possible recurrence, before scheduling any flight by scheduling department, NOTAMS, etc, should be checked by dispatch.

I SHOULD HAVE NOTICED THIS NOTAM BUT FEEL THAT MY WORKLOAD (WORKING ALONE) WAS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. TO PREVENT POSSIBLE RECURRENCE, BEFORE SCHEDULING ANY FLT BY SCHEDULING DEPT, NOTAMS, ETC, SHOULD BE CHKED BY DISPATCH.
