Narrative:

After aircraft deicing, aircraft mistakenly taxied on other side of visible taxi blue lights. After confirmation from both a ground vehicle and aircraft that we had been on concrete the whole way, we were able to taxi into marshall area and takeoff on runway 29L. MD80 behind us almost did the same thing if not for operations vehicle blocking his way. There were no deicing marshaller/coordinators during the deicing process. Both first officer and so took a maintenance vehicle out to area the next day to confirm the previous evening's assurances that we were indeed on the concrete the whole way.
