Narrative:
ZID cleared us direct to cvg after being on an assigned heading of 290 degrees. After turning toward cvg, ATC gave us a 15 degree right turn, due to our track that took us close or into the MOA.

Title: ARTCC CTLR VECTORING ACFT MISJUDGED THAT DIRECT ROUTING WOULD BRING ACFT TOO CLOSE TO MOA AND REASSIGNED NEW HDG.
Narrative: ZID CLRED US DIRECT TO CVG AFTER BEING ON AN ASSIGNED HDG OF 290 DEGS. AFTER TURNING TOWARD CVG, ATC GAVE US A 15 DEG R TURN, DUE TO OUR TRACK THAT TOOK US CLOSE OR INTO THE MOA.
