Narrative:
Cleared to cross bearz intersection at 11000 ft and 250 KTS. PF failed to reset his altimeter from 29.92 to 30.50 during descent from 18000 ft PNF was off frequency getting ATIS, changeover and identifying navaids for approach. When PNF returned to center frequency, he observed altimeters not reset. Aircraft had leveled at 11000 ft on altimeter setting of 29.92. When altimeters were reset, altitude was 11300-11500 ft. Aircraft descended to 11000 ft with position northwest of bearz intersection.

Title: RPTR FAILS TO CROSS INTXN AT ASSIGNED ALT.
Narrative: CLRED TO CROSS BEARZ INTXN AT 11000 FT AND 250 KTS. PF FAILED TO RESET HIS ALTIMETER FROM 29.92 TO 30.50 DURING DSCNT FROM 18000 FT PNF WAS OFF FREQ GETTING ATIS, CHANGEOVER AND IDENTIFYING NAVAIDS FOR APCH. WHEN PNF RETURNED TO CTR FREQ, HE OBSERVED ALTIMETERS NOT RESET. ACFT HAD LEVELED AT 11000 FT ON ALTIMETER SETTING OF 29.92. WHEN ALTIMETERS WERE RESET, ALT WAS 11300-11500 FT. ACFT DSNDED TO 11000 FT WITH POS NW OF BEARZ INTXN.
