Narrative:
Took off from fullerton on a very short flight to long beach. Since I have always before landed on runway 25L, my pattern entry to runway 25L was too close to the airport and I didn't have a good visibility or runway 25R when turned base from downwind. I saw an airplane on downwind which appeared too close to mine. Consequently I executed a left 360 degrees which could have put me in conflict with traffic landing on runway 25L.
