Narrative:
Intersection takeoff runway 27R. Experienced directional control problem on takeoff roll. Applied rejected takeoff procedures per operations manual to gain control of the aircraft. Slowed to taxi speed and contacted tower, cleared the runway. Declined any assistance from tower controller and re-entered sequence for takeoff. During the taxi-back operations checked nosewheel steering and brakes, checked good. The ensuing takeoff and departure were uneventful.

Narrative: INTXN TKOF RWY 27R. EXPERIENCED DIRECTIONAL CTL PROB ON TKOF ROLL. APPLIED REJECTED TKOF PROCS PER OPS MANUAL TO GAIN CTL OF THE ACFT. SLOWED TO TAXI SPD AND CONTACTED TWR, CLRED THE RWY. DECLINED ANY ASSISTANCE FROM TWR CTLR AND RE-ENTERED SEQUENCE FOR TKOF. DURING THE TAXI-BACK OPS CHKED NOSEWHEEL STEERING AND BRAKES, CHKED GOOD. THE ENSUING TKOF AND DEP WERE UNEVENTFUL.
