Narrative:
We work in a modification shop. On a modification which we do frequently, it came to our attention that the weight and balance information used in the maintenance signoff may be incorrect. We are currently investigating the matter, and it will be corrected. It is probably not a significant error, but still needs to be corrected. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the aircraft was a class of airplanes and not a specific one. In fact, there were over a hundred of the modifications done on bonanzas like A-36's and 33's. There has been no repercussions from the faulty weight and balance calculations and the corrections have been sent to those who have the modifications.
