Narrative:

While parked at the gate in mem, received a warning of smoke in the lavatories -- none found: problem cleared itself on the ECAM. 30 seconds later smoke was indicated in the aft cargo compartment. We complied with ECAM procedures, notified the fire department, and deplaned the procedures, notified the fire department, and deplaned the passenger. Flight attendants had complained of a peculiar odor and burning eyes. No evidence of fire was found. I believe problem was caused by the packs ingesting fluid on the ramp or from passing aircraft exhaust.
