Narrative:

I may have signed off airworthiness directive's as previously complied with according to aircraft records when in fact they may not have been complied with. It would be extremely difficult and time consuming to disassemble components to see that the airworthiness directive's have actually been complied with. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter states that he was turned in by somebody and afraid that the sign off of the inspection he had done would be attacked on the basis of others not complying with the airworthiness directive they had signed off. He is no longer working at the maintenance facility listed as his work phone.
