Narrative:
Air carrier X FL330 nnwbound working the sector north of mine. Air carrier Y FL330 eastbound. Air carrier X was turned nwbound to avoid a situation with wbound traffic. Air carrier Y was not descended due to wbound traffic FL310. Other handoffs increased my workload and I did not descend Y in time. Supplemental information from acn 302409: air carrier X northbound traffic at FL330 merging with air carrier Y eastbound traffic at FL330. Y issued descent and did not take prompt action due to a TCASII alert that told him to climb. He eventually went down but not before the operational error.

Narrative: ACR X FL330 NNWBOUND WORKING THE SECTOR N OF MINE. ACR Y FL330 EBOUND. ACR X WAS TURNED NWBOUND TO AVOID A SIT WITH WBOUND TFC. ACR Y WAS NOT DSNDED DUE TO WBOUND TFC FL310. OTHER HDOFS INCREASED MY WORKLOAD AND I DID NOT DSND Y IN TIME. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 302409: ACR X NBOUND TFC AT FL330 MERGING WITH ACR Y EBOUND TFC AT FL330. Y ISSUED DSCNT AND DID NOT TAKE PROMPT ACTION DUE TO A TCASII ALERT THAT TOLD HIM TO CLB. HE EVENTUALLY WENT DOWN BUT NOT BEFORE THE OPERROR.
